Peter has been an integral part of the club’s growth and success since the early 80s. His dedication to the club, has been nothing short of exemplary.

Peter has been a major part of the club for 5 decades and over 500 games.  No other player has played 500 senior games, the vast majority of these in A grade.

Peters contributions to the Club are truly impressive.

He has an outstanding record, having secured 19 A Grade batting trophies during his tenure at the club. His consistent performances with the bat has significantly contributed to the club’s success.

Not only is Peter a formidable batsman, but he has also excelled in bowling. His skill and dedication have earned him 4 A Grade bowling trophies. His ability to take crucial wickets has been invaluable to the team.

Peter was a long standing member of the KDCA rep sides playing McPherson Shield, Bendigo and Melbourne Country Week.  His exploits at Bendigo Country week were such that he was awarded membership to its Hall of Fame

Peters favourite cricket memories are:

Receiving a Life membership

Playing in his first A Grade game as the 12th man in a final.

The premierships at all levels

Playing in a A grade premiership that went right down to the wire.  Tatura won despite myself and Scott Miller having to be subbed out with injuries substained playing in a Football Practice match mid week. The last day was a roller coaster of emotion, feeling that we had let down the side by getting injured as Girgarre headed to victory, to pure elation as Chris Norman ripped through Girgarre taking 7 wickets and winning the game.
