Junior Finals in full swing

It’s a big week for our four Junior teams this week.

The U16 side have qualified for the Grand Final starting this Friday, the game is against Old Students/Nagambie and will be played at the Kialla rec reserve.  Their performance last week of knocking off the undefeated Northerners team showed that they have every chance.  They have impressed us all with the way they play as a true team, with different players chipping in each week.  They don’t rely on just a couple of players, they are all performing at a high level.  Good luck boys, enjoy the game.

The U14 team is currently half way through their semi final at Bunbartha and will be defending a very good total of 120 on Wednesday night.  The team which is a combination of Tatura and Nagambie players have already made huge strides this season.  They started in the U14B competition and were promoted to U14A mid season.  Just making the finals is a great result for a merged team.  Good luck team.

The U12 side is starting its semi final this Friday night against Notredame/Central Park at the St Brendans oval.  It will be a tough ask, but just like the U16 team last week they have every chance of beating the higher placed team.

The U10 competition doesn’t have finals, so our U10 team finishes their season this Wednesday.  They are a team full of boys and girls who have never played competition cricket before.  Their improvement under first time coach David Maskell has been sensational.  Their first win two weeks ago was great to see, we hope to see you all back again next season.
